The game of Chelsea vs Manchester United that supposed to happen on Sunday 19 December, 2010 has been postponed due to the heavy snow! The Chelsea FC website declared that the match was postponed due to "consultation with the police and the local authority".
Also Chelsea said in a statement that it was also called off due to the " Heavy Snow in London on Saturday".
This was a sad moment for me and for all fans that wanted to watch this big Sunday game between 2 giant teams. We are all waiting for the rescheduling of the game which I am scared will be in a long time. We will see and this is by the way a plus for Chelsea and Manchester United. Lampard will be in a better form and for example Chelsea will regain their confidence more then before!
"The decision to postpone the game was taken on safety grounds after comprehensive consultations between the club, local authorities and the police.
"A high-profile event of this scale affects an area much wider than Stamford Bridge, and considering the icy conditions forecast, an early decision was taken to ensure the safety of both fans and those staffing the event."
The Premier League argues that, had a decision been made on the day, it would have faced criticism from fans who had already travelled from the north west.
Nasri said "United were supposed to play against Chelsea and I couldn't see them winning that".
I loved that by Nasri and it was well said Chelsea will win and GO BLUESS!!!!!!
