Hey Readers,

I have been posting here for a month and a half and it feels like I am blogging for a year, I enjoyed blogging on my blog but I found a new team and a new blog to work on. The blog is called Chelsea Fanatic and from now on if you want to check my posts please go to www.chelseafanatic.com. Do not worry because I will be still posting here but it will be only opinions and I will not post as much. I may post once or twice a day. I dedicated all my work to chelseafanatic.com. Chelsea vs Manchester United RESCHEDULED!

I already said on my previous post about the game of Chelsea vs Manchester United that got postponed. Now they finally rescheduled it and it will be on March 1. Chelsea FC officially stated on their website that the match is rescheduled. 

This is what Chelsea FC officially stated:

uesday 1 March is the new date set for the home Barclays Premier League game against Manchester United which was postponed at the weekend.

The match at Stamford Bridge will kick off at 8pm.

This match is subject to neither team being involved in an FA Cup fifth round replay.

Should both teams be knocked out of the FA Cup prior to this date the match may be placed on to an FA Cup weekend.

This match will remain live on Sky Sports TV.

The following ticket news was released on Saturday when the original game was postponed:

For tickets purchased directly through Chelsea; should customers require a refund they can send the tickets back to the box office with credit card details and they will be cancelled. Customers are advised to send tickets back by Royal Mail special delivery in order for the tickets to arrive safely. Any tickets that do not arrive cannot be refunded.

All tickets remain valid for the new date.

Basically that is the full article but this is what they stated. Like I said before I do not care when they play the match but all I care about that Chelsea has to win. I hope they do so we can stand strong against Manchester United.

Carlo Ancelotti talking about Modric

Hey readers

So there are a lot of rumors of Chelsea wanting Luka Modric and basically I never trust rumors until they are true. Carlo denied these rumors saying that no one talked about him.

This is what Carlo had to say:

"He's a good player, but no-one is speaking about him here.

"Also, there's no reason to speak now about new players. If we need to have something, we are able to do it.

"But there are a lot of games in this period - five games in a few days - so we have to stay focused on these games."

I agree with him they have to focus on their games and plus we do not need him and thats my opinion. Carlo also added about his sqaud saying:

"We had a problem because we had, at the same time, a lot of players injured," he added.

"The squad is good, the players are in good condition, players without injury, and the squad is enough in this moment to play this game well - at our best."

I hope Chelsea do play well and win against Arsenal. We all know that Chelsea are always at their best against Arsenal as you saw in previous matches. I hope Chelsea wins and regain their confidence to be the Chelsea we all know and love.

Terry talks about the weaknesses of the Squad!

Terry was in an interview and he was talking about the weaknesses of the squad.He is also talking about how Chelsea is not able to rotate their squad because of all the young players we have. 

This is what Terry had to say in the interview with Chelsea TV:

"We've missed some key players at key times and it is a case of keeping everyone fit now over the Christmas period, where we have two games in three days," Terry told Chelsea's official website.

"In the past, we had a big squad and could rotate and put other players in. We don't have that now, we have quite a young squad and it's a time for everyone to stay together like we always will.

"Once we've turned that corner, we can move on from there and wait for other teams to slip up, which they will do."

Terry added: "Now we have a tougher game away at Arsenal, which could prove to be very difficult, but we're just one game from moving on."

I agree every word he is saying and we did miss players but now their back and it is out time to shine. We did have a big squad but now were up to these young players as substitutes and sometimes they are not up to it. Carlo Ancelotti has to get world class players that are maybe younger and players that will sit on the bench. Roman has to splash some cash to leave Chelsea full of substitutes and players that are younger then the players we have. OK we do have young players that are talented and have played games but they are not capable of being in the starting 11.

Nathan Ake: The next Rio Ferdinand?

Like we mostly now know that Chelsea lured Nathan Ake a 15 year old defender that plays for Feyenoord. Chelsea payed around £230,000 to get Nathan Ake on Febuary on his 16th birthday. Personally I never heard of Nathan Ake or I never saw him anywhere. Like I said in my title is he the next Rio Ferdinand well according to Nathan he says he is like Rio Ferdinand. I do not know if this player will have any change in Chelsea but he looks like he has a bright future in the Chelsea academy. There are a lot of people talking about this and lets start about Nathan talking about how he is like Rio Ferdinand. 

Kakuta responds to the New Contract

As all of you may know is that Kakuta signed a new contract with Chelsea for 4 1/2 years leaving him until 2015.  Kakuta already commented on his new contract but added some more talking about how he wants more playing time.

Chelsea vs Manchester United WILL BE PLAYED IN THE END OF THE SEASON!?

Hey Readers,

As all of you know that the Chelsea vs Manchester United game was postponed

I was checking out THE SUN for some breaking news about Chelsea and I saw this article saying that Chelsea vs Man Utd will be postponed until the play offs.The reason for that is because they are not finding a slot where this match can happen. This is what THE SUN said 

The rivals are already due to play at Old Trafford on May 7 in a match which is sure to have a huge say in the championship race.

But they could meet again 10 days later after Sunday's Stamford Bridge match was cancelled.

I do not know about this but it is true if you see the only days the match can go on are January 11 and 24, plus April 19 but those are going to be FA Cup Replays. The only other time Chelsea can play against Man Utd are on May 17 and 18 which is days before the end of the season. If this happens it will be like a rematch to who ever lost in the first game and it will be only after 10 days. 

The League Chiefs were confident that there are going to avoid pile ups. 

This is what they had to say:

 "We will work with affected clubs to get new dates agreed."

I wished the match was soon but that will not happen and that is totally fine! As long as Chelsea plays against Manchester Utd and win I have no problem!

Anelka wanting to end Career in America MLS.

There are some speculation saying that Anelka wants to end his career in the MLS. Anelka still has 2 years until the summer of 2012 where his contract will expire. Anelka's brother Claude Anelka who came out and talked about Anelka being interested in the MLS said this:

Ancelotti talking about Drogba

Hey Readers,

Ancelotti came out today and talked about how Drogba is back from recovery and is bewaring Arsenal from the Drogs we know!

This is what Carlo said:

"We need Drogba to come back to the performances he had last year and the goal against Tottenham was very good for his attitude, I understand he has not been in a good condition. He had difficulty to play with malaria, he was tired, he was not 100% and he found it difficult to train.

Now his condition is better. He had a good reaction after coming on as a substitute in the last game, this is the important thing and following the goal against Tottenham he will show us a different Drogba in the next game."

I agree with him that Drogba is back! All he needed was a goal and the confidence that he played against Tottenham showed the Drogs we know! I watched a video of a compilation of Drogba this season and he was a great player! He is truly a world class striker and we need him against the big boys Arsenal! (or lets says young boys) We all know Drogba has a good record against Arsenal and he always has to score and we are hoping the same for the next game!!!  

Official: Kakuta signs a new deal with Chelsea

Hey Readers,

Yes Finally Kakuta signed a new four and a half years contract that will leave him with Chelsea until 2015!

This is great for Kakuta and for all the fans that support him like me! I am so happy for him to stay with Chelsea because he has talent and he deserves to be playing in Chelsea. If he works hard then he will achieve his dream and get more playing time!

This is what Chelsea Football Club said on their official Website:

“Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce that Gael Kakuta has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract.”

Also Gael Kakuta commented on the contract talks saying this:

Champions League Round of 16 Analysis

Hey Readers,

As you all know the Draw for the Champions League Round of 16 came out and I will be predicting on who will win for each match.

The teams that qualified to the Round of 16 of the Champions League are: AS Roma, AC Milan, Valencia CF, FC Internazionale, Olympique Lyonnais, Arsenal FC, Olympique Marseille, FC Copengahen, FC Shakhtar, Donetsk, Tottenham Hotspur FC, FC Schalke 04, FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, Manchester United FC, and Chelsea FC. 

As I predicted in my analysis before on who will qualify I got most of the teams right and I am proud of that.

These are the matches and in the end I will write who I think will win:

Chelsea vs Manchester United Postponed!

Hey Readers,

The game of Chelsea vs Manchester United that supposed to happen on Sunday 19 December, 2010 has been postponed due to the heavy snow! The Chelsea FC website declared that the match was postponed due to "consultation with the police and the local authority".

Also Chelsea said in a statement that it was also called off due to the " Heavy Snow in London on Saturday".

This was a sad moment for me and for all fans that wanted to watch this big Sunday game between 2 giant teams. We are all waiting for the rescheduling of the game which I am scared will be in a long time. We will see and this is by the way a plus for Chelsea and Manchester United. Lampard will be in a better form and for example Chelsea will regain their confidence more then before! 

Another statement that was said on Monday said this:

Champions League FC Copenhagen vs Chelsea

Hey,

The draw of the games happening in the Round of 16 came out and Chelsea will face FC Copenhagen.

I was happy because out of all the choices Chelsea were going to play against I wanted FC Copenhagen and it happened. I think that this game will be easy for Chelsea but they have to take each match like a final and not to take it easy. If they come to the match with full confidence thinking the game will be easy (which it will be) Chelsea may lose. If you see Barcelona did not win against FC Copenhagen because they can get tricky sometimes and Chelsea has to be careful.

I am happy this team is going to play against Chelsea and LETS HOPEFULLY SAY HELLOO QUARTER FINALS!

Guardiola to Chelsea HELL NO!

Hey People!

I can not believe only because Chelsea are passing in a rough time now with the injuries that rumors come out of Carlo Ancelotti wanting to leave Chelsea! Now there are rumors that Guardiola will replace Carlo! This is just hilarious because we all know Pep has been in Barcelona most of his time and why would he leave when he is winning all those trophies with Barca. 

When I first read this rumor I was like come on!!! Really journalists this is what you guys think about all day. I am actually happy from Abrahamovic because before he did use to fire coaches only for the rough time they have. Carlo Ancelotti is doing a great job in Chelsea and on his first season Chelsea won the double for the first time. You never know we may win the FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League this season and win 3 trophies. 

Carlo actually denied this rumors and sometimes he ignores rumors but this time he responded saying this 

I have heard of Pep Guardiola, to be frank.

"But you don't have to ask me – the coach is always the last to know. Don't ask me. We focus on our training and our matches."

OK so that is not much as a deny but still we never know but I am sure Pep will never come to Chelsea or maybe so but not now at least!

I hope most Chelsea fans want Carlo to stay because some hate him already but you people have to understand he is a coach and his job is just to pick the tactics fix the team and hope they win. He is doing his job amazingly but it is the players that need improvement and we have to wait until Lampard and Terry come back!

Drogba talks about the defense!

It has been a long time since I blogged but I was in vacation and still watching the Chelsea matches and I was disappointed but it is ok Chelsea will bounce back

Drogba came out and talked about how the defense needs to improve and get more clean sheets for Chelsea to have a chance of winning! He talked about how Chelsea is creating a lot of chances in each game and not capable of scoring. This is what Drogs had to say:

'It’s not a good moment and is very frustrating,' admitted Drogba. 'It’s not nice to see United up front and Arsenal are with us as well but it’s a challenge for us and we have to see it that way, rather than being disappointed.  

'We have to do everything to come back and we are playing those teams in a few weeks so this is a challenge.

‘Once again we created a lot of chances and we could have scored maybe another goal but the problem is we conceded a goal very early so we had to chase the game.

‘When you have to chase, you create more space and you create more fatigue as well - so it is difficult to take the chances when they come.

'It was handball,’ he conceded. ‘I was just disappointed because two minutes before I tried to cross and the defender touched it with his hand and the referee didn’t give it. 

'He said the player was too close but my handball was close also - but it was the decision and there was nothing you can do about it.

'People expect Chelsea to win every game and they may be surprised when we don’t, but that means we are one of the best teams in the league. That is why the expectation is high so it is a responsibility we have to take and we try to do that.’

I agree with Drogs, I mean he is right our defense is not that good without our main back four and when they are back it will be back to the normal clean sheets. The thing is Drogba needs to realize he has to work too and score some goals to make us win this rough patch Chelsea is passing through. Our Midfield needs improvement which will give the ball forward to the attack line so either Malouda, Drogba, or Anelka can score.

I am happy the players will be back next week but Chelsea has to improve badly and win back the first place position.
